The inspiration for this piece came from a desire to explore the life cycle of a flower, infused with the joy it brings. Peonies, in particular, are recognized for their elusive beauty; they don’t readily reveal their full magnificence. In "Tender Blush," I wanted to capture that blissful moment when a peony unfurls, showcasing its intricate details and the elegant interplay of its textures and colours. The artwork invites viewers to experience the subtle nuances and the rich textures that often remain unseen by the casual observer, evoking a sense of joy in discovering hidden beauty.
