In high school I had two teachers who taught art and architecture after hours where I developed my interest in design, color, art and history. I started travelling to Europe almost 35 years later and marveled at the sites in historical cities, recalling what I learned so many years ago. Notre Dame was stunning inside and out, from bottom to top including the very upper balcony next to the gargoyles on the tower. I saw this North Rose Window close up, a marvel of craftsmanship from so long ago. FYI: One of the round stained glass panels in the window would just fit into this 26" square.
