One of the joys of being an artist is choosing a palette. The options are limitless but some are more pleasing to the eye than others. One of my favorites is turquoise. While the true complement of blue is orange, I picked sophisticated copper. What fun to work with metallics! I chose mostly hand-made papers, in organic designs. I contrasted these with corroded and patina-ed squares and rectangles of metal. A resin finish adds depth and a unique finish. There are so many details for the eye to explore, including bits of Sanskrit text. This piece was created on four cradles wood panels.
