Linda lives in Colwood, and is a member of Arts and Culture Colwood and the Sooke Arts Council. Linda has been been painting for about seven years and is primarily self-taught, with some on-line instruction during the pandemic years. Linda has exhibited at the former Coast Collective, the Metchosin ArtPod, Sooke Arts Council, Arts and Culture Colwood Centre and the Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society Spring Show.
StatementAs an artist living on the West Shore, I am constantly inspired by our local landscape. I enjoy painting both abstract and realistic works, usually with acrylics, but also with alcohol inks. I also enjoy working with paper and fabric in its various forms.
